The classroom has experienced a dramatic overhaul as technology gets more and more advanced. The introduction of apps for cellphones has added another piece to the classroom atmosphere in the digital age.
As technology advances, it seems like more and more people have become too busy to keep track of everything that happens in their lives, and this is especially true for the average student. A student’s life can be as hectic as anyone elses, but guess what? There is an app for that!
Notes, the enemy of the average student. Just imagine it is the first class of the day, 8 a.m. You were chugging beers with the bros the night before, and now you are extremely hungover and tired. You go to class, sit down at a desk and then have to listen to a teacher babble on and on about something you are too tired to care about.
Evernote allows you to take notes on a cellphone, tablet or computer, so it is one of the most convenient student productivity apps on the market. The perks of Evernote is the fact that students can not only take notes, but also keep track of a database of all the notes they have entered into it in the past.
Meanwhile, professors can also use the app to provide notes to their students, and save money on paper in the process- which, is also green. On top of those practical student productivity uses, it can also be used to take down shopping lists, make travelling plans and bloggers can use the app to write their blogs and publish them at a later date.

Dropbox has become more and more popular in the last year. The dropbox software operates as a cloud computing program, which allows a user to share files and anything else stored on their computers with anyone of their choice.
It comes in handy for students who want to share documents with other students for various reasons, including group projects and other collaborations. The best thing about Dropbox, is that it is completely free and very easy to learn and use.
It has become so popular, that it has been responsible for the success of many small start-up companies that can not afford their own cloud computing programs.
These days, it does not make any sense for a student not to have Dropbox, since it has so many uses and is very convenient- not to mention, free!!!

These days, it is fairly common for people to have more than one e-mail account. Usually, a person will have a personal e-mail account, and also a business-only personal e-mail.
Because of all the e-mail accounts that a person may have, in order to be productive, it would be a good idea to use the Sparrow program. The only downside is that Sparrow is only available on Mac’s and iPhones, and not other personal computers.
Sparrow is more convenient and easier to navigate than gmail, but also has many of the same functions.
