How to Recover from Google’s Panda Update
Google’s recent Panda update or Farmers update hit the entire Internet world. Many webmasters struggling to find out a way to get out of the mess and some trying hard to get back the lost traffic as well lost Google rankings.
To be frank TechInfo Blog never been penalized by Google, in fact we saw increase in traffic (proof is below) after Google panda update. I had published a report article recently showing how our traffic has increased after the panda update.
My US traffic is increased almost 12%:
My Global traffic is increased almost 58.08%:

I was reading blog posts since few weeks to learn how webmasters are managing to get their sites back on track. So that I can help myself if my site hit by Google.
If your blog or website is hit by Google’s Panda update, I would like to inform you to breathe ease because now it’s possible to improve your sites and get all the lost traffic, rankings and revenue. Here in this article I’m going to list certain steps to help your sites recover from Google’s Panda update so that; you can help optimize your site to get the best results from Google.
So, first let’s see the reason behind “Google’s Slap” on your face
. Below are some of the known reasons why your site is hit by Google’s panda update.
- Your Blog / Site has lot of low quality contents.
- Your Blog / Site like a content farm where most of the contents borrowed from other blogs or article directories.
- Your Blog / Site has no valuable contents.
- Your Blog / Site has large number of useless information indexed in Google.
- Your Blog / Site has no SEO friendly structure.
- Your Blog / Site has Duplicate content.
Removing duplicate content from your blog is a top worked method of getting out your site from Google’s panda update which will help your ranking to upwards again in Google. Never copy content from other sites and you also make sure that the content is high quality. If you’re planning to copy someone’s content, do not just copy paste it, read it and re-write whole content in your own words so that, the whole content is yours. Some reports says that, 40 to 50% of blog contents over the internet are borrowed from others but the webmasters re-write whole content and made it their own.
Lot of webmasters I follow are reporting that, the page load speed, no-index Meta tag, using the canonical tag are helped them to recover from Panda update.
Below are some of the tips I collected and which worked best for some of the webmasters.
- - Never use smaller lighter contents in your blog post, write in minimum 500-600 words so that your content is bulked and the quality of the content also increases.
- - Verify your SEO again and again; make sure your keyword density is under recommended percentage.
- - If possible get help of professional SEO tools. Some webmasters reported that, after replying on professional SEO services their ranking in Google is increased.
- - If you are using WordPress then you must buy some great pro SEO Plugins in order to put your blogs SEO in top priority
- - Consider local content- but only when you can do it effectively. Research has shown that Panda likes quality local content so if there is a way that you can bring local content to your niche and your site, and then give it a shot. Be sure you have something of value to offer or it will not benefit you and could even hurt you in the long run.
- - Be up to date with Google’ changes via their new blog. This will help you stay updated on any changes and information that will help your rankings. It’s critical to stay up to date on what is working and what isn’t as things can suddenly change overnight.
Above are few techniques you can use to recover your site from Google’s Panda update. Well, I cant say those tips would help you 100% recovery but I’m sure those will help you for sure.
