It’s no secret that Apple will be announcing their follow-up to the highly successful iPhone 4 soon, and that is of course the device dubbed as of now as the iPhone 5. Now that the iPhone 5 is just around the corner, Apple fans have one question in their mind: Is it worth upgrading to iPhone 5? Well we have an interesting infographic for you to check out with regards to that.
If you are an owner of the current generation iPhone, is it really time to upgrade? Well, AYTM (Ask Your Target Market) has teamed up with research firm PaidViewpoint and conducted a survey asking about 1,000 iPhone users in the United States aged 18 years (and above) and they were asked several questions regarding the iPhone 5. The infographic that you will be seeing below is merely part 1 of a three-part series that will coincide with the launch of the iPhone 5. Without further ado, here’s an infographic that will let you decide whether it is time to upgrade to iPhone 5 or not.

As you can see, the infographic (credit: Mashable ) does present some very interesting data. As expected almost half of the current iPhone users are using the latest iPhone 4, what’s surprising is that there are still about 4% that are using the 2007 original iPhone. According to the survey, about 75% of iPhone owners are currently under AT&T and Verizon coming in at a distant second. As for users who are planning to upgrade to iPhone 5, it seems that 46% are intending to grab an iPhone 5 within 6 months of its release. And based on the survey, the newer the model they own, the more likely they will upgrade to iPhone 5. And as expected, users who are 18-34 years of age are 31% more likely to upgrade than users who are 35 years of age and above. [via Jaxov]

This is surprising about iPhone peaking the usage in US. The dramatic increase in the usage of iPhone made people to go for another iPhone upgrade but iPhone 5 should offer something different & unique in order to save it’s place on top. Because Google’s Android is just behind iPhone & it will only a mistake for Android to grab that top position from iPhone.
So Apple Beware! Android is on it’s way.
Thats true!
