TwitterFeed- Bloggers usually post their links to various Social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, etc once they publish an article. There are hundreds of plugins for wordpress or extensions for joomla which makes bloggers life easier by sending automated links to above said social media sites.
I recently came to know about an twitter feeder which is called Twitter Feed itself, which sends your latest feeds or recently published articles to your twitter or facebook accounts automatically. In this post I’m going to show you guys how to add your blog’s feeds to TwitterFeed and updates your followers that, you have posted a new article.
Ok let’s see how to configure TwitterFeed
Step 1: Click on this link and go to http://twitterfeed.com, registed a new account and confirm your email. Once the email confirmation done, login to your account on TwitterFeed.
Step 2: Since you have new account and there are no feeds setup yet, TwitterFeed automatically redirect you to new feed creation page “http://twitterfeed.com/feeds/new”. This is called step 1. Name your feed, its better you name after your website so it’s easy to recognize later. Then under Blog URL or RSS Feed URL paste your blogs feed url (feedburner url is better than the default feed url) and click on test rss feed, which tests your feed and confirms if it’s ok or not. Step 2a: If you would like to change feed frequency, Facebook options, feed contents and other advanced options click on Advanced Settings and edit the settings you wants to update o just leave them as it is and move on to step 2 by clicking Continue to Step 2
Step 3: In the step 2-Configure Publishing Services you need to authorize your Twitter, facebook Statusnet and Hellotxt accounts. Click on each account and authorize them by allow accessing your profile page. In my case i just authorized twitter and Facebook. Refer bellow image.
Step 4: Click on All Done to finish. TwitterFeed will confirm with the settings are running alright.
That’s it, now all the configurations are done with TwitterFeed, from now onwards whenever you post a new article TwitterFeed will post them on your facebook and twitter page. I’m glad that, TwitterFeed and TechInfo Blog made your blogging life easier.
